The loonie took a beating today down almost 2 cents against the US$. I am liking the Uranium stocks right now as I picked up Uranium one(UUU.TO) and Paladin Resource(PDN.TO).
Paladin has been a favorite of mine before and it looks to be breaking out here with heavy volume. I also like Uranium one here as it is breaking from flag pattern on good volume. Cameco(CCO.TO) is another name that looks close to breaking out of a consolidation phase. I did a lot of buying and selling today, trying to re-position my portfolio. I'm starting to hold too many stocks now and its too hard to follow so many so I will begin to trim it down a bit this week. Will look to take some profits and cut my boring stocks out fast!
Earnings season is still here so expect a lot of volatility during the next few weeks.
