Big selloff today on all equity markets in North America. Looks like this could be a significant correction of 10% or more in the near future and I am starting to raise more cash and look for shorting opportunities here. I sold a few positions today and will be reducing my long exposure in the next day or two.
My shorts in ICE, SNDA, and RINO are doing well and lessing the drawdown I am taking on my other long positions. I will be looking for short setups tonight and will take a look through my portfolio again to see what I can trim down or exit out of.
The VIX index was up over 14% today so get ready for some volatility in these markets going forward and make sure to protect your trading capital.
